Well, its been quite sometime since the last post or update. The past 5 months have been pretty hectic around here, and posting was kinda put on the back burner. For anyone who has visited prior to the last week and a half, no doubt its quite different. We have been keeping pretty busy over the last few weeks, and spending lots of time on the site. Numerous bugs and tweaks have been taken care of most of which were minor and probably went unnoticed by the vast majority people visiting the site. A few new features have also been introduced including better searching options. It is now possible to search videos, news and blogs individually instead of the all inclusive search method before. Over the last two weeks we have dedicated most of our time to implementing a major design change to the site. Finally last night we were able to push the update to the live site. The primary reason for the change was due to the fact that while developing reptilelink much of the focus was put into functionality rather than visuals. Now that our code base has reached a more stable point we have had the chance to sit back and look at where were at and where going. Read More

After doing pretty much nothing for the last week I'm ready to get everything back to normal. We have plenty to do this week including finally rolling out the law section, coming up with the initial forum rules and some other minor updates around the site.

Over the past several days we have been busily working on a new section to add to the site. Sparked mainly due to the recent progress S373 has made making its way to the senate. The overall goal of the section will be to provide an updated look to what laws and legislation are affecting the reptile community. Along with updates to specific legislation, the section will also provide detailed contact information about all current senators ('Both House and State officials will be added next.').

We hope to have this new section available within the next few days so keep an eye out.

Well, after a very long time in the making we are very pleased to be making reptilelink.com available to the world.
